Being in her new home, Pink girl has had many new adventures–learning to walk on a leash, visit the neighbor, learn what the outside world is like, and riding in the car just to name a few. After a day of adventures, Ms. Pink takes a rest.

Last Litter Portrait

Puppies are 10 weeks old today and tomorrow (Christmas Eve) pink girl–now known as Lily, will be going to her new forever home so this is the last picture of the litter together. The rest of the litter will be here for another 3 weeks then Kendra (co-owner) will come to get her pup–so big changes coming over the next few weeks for the litter. Today was bath and “spiff up” day and Sue and Andrea were kind enough to pose with the pups for the portrait (actually it’s the only way the picture could be taken!!!). In the usual order from the left: Blue girl, Lily (Pink), Benny (male), Red girl, Purple girl.

Can CH AM Bronze GCH Intl CH Absolute Affinity Agape Bullet Proof  aka SIMON

It’s unofficially official. SIMON has captured the title of top Bichon Frise in Canada for 2012. With only one more show left in the country until year end, we are fairly confident in making this announcement.

Simon finished off a weekend of shows at Chilliwack today. Group 2 both Friday and Saturday and a Group 1 one Sunday!!  I (Sheri) was there to take him into the BIS ring and it was such a nice way to finish off the year.

It’s been a very exciting year for Karen, Sue and I.  Simon will take a little break for the Holidays, then he will be back in the ring in the States for 2013.

A heartfelt thanks to Cheryl Blair and Dale Hunter for your unwavering support of Simon through out the year.  We hope Simon has made his Daddy Chip very proud!

A HUGE THANK YOU to David and Pat Gignac and their team for your care and handling of Simon this year.  We could not have done it with without your help.

Week 8 – Hair Cuts and Photos

With week 8 came the pups first hair cuts–Sheri took the clippers to them and took off lots of coat–now we can see that the pups have legs–the pups didn’t mind the clippers–what they decided they didn’t want to do was cooperate for the photo session again–so we did take some different poses–fronts, rears, stacks–but I’m posting the head shots–if you want to contact me I’ll be glad to share some of the photos with you. With the new hair cut the pups are actually starting to look like little Bichon Frises. But getting a hair cut and having to do pictures can really tire a pup out–I haven’t heard a peep out of them for at least 2 hours–BIG sleep!! Photos again are in birth order, Blue girl, Pink girl, Mr. Macho Male, Red girl, and Purple girl.

Week 7 — How Time Has Flown

Where has the time gone–the puppies are 7 weeks old. This week I was going to try something different for the weekly poses–a basket with all the puppies in it–well, that didn’t work at all–they just wanted to chew on the basket, try to climb out, wrestle with each other and just generally not cooperate!!! So it is head shots again–maybe next week we’ll try something different–how about show stacks?–I laugh just thinking about trying to show stack these babies.
