Tasheena and Kevlar had a terrific day on Sunday at the Tacoma show. Kevlar (Absolutely Snowbird Heart of Strength) was Best of Breed and Best Owner Handler in breed. Kevlar got a good look from the judge in the Non-Sporting Group (no placement). then went to the Owner Handler Group and was awarded a Group 4 placement. Very nice Kevlar! Kevlar added 2 more points toward her Grand Championship on Sunday.

This is Elijah (Absolutely Bringing A Higher Love) with one of his owners, Jan. On Sunday at the Tacoma Kennel Club show, Elijah was Winners Dog and Best of Winners for a 3 point major. This was Elijah first win and first points–I’m sure there will be many more wins and points!!! Elijah is a very nice dog, a happy little guy.

This may be Pixie’s new song, “Something tells me I’m into something good.”

Pixie had her ring debut yesterday and today. She has the reputation of being fearless. She is just over 6 months old and none of the new sights and sounds fazed her a bit. Her owner, Doug, also had his ring debut today. He got to squire this lively girl around the ring.

Doug and Pixie make a great team. Look at those ribbons!

On Saturday at the Tacoma Kennel Club show in the Tacoma Dome, Emoji–Absolutely Affinity Smiley Face:)–finished her AKC Championship, going Winners and earning the last point she needed.

Emoji is waving goodbye to the show ring–and hopefully headed toward motherhood. Sorry about the blurry picture, but Emoji was on the move and waving. Great to have her finished!!!

Our first dog show since November, this time at the Tacoma Dome and the Tacoma Kennel Club did a very nice job of putting on a show under the current Covid conditions (Pierce County has been rolled back to Phase 2). Sheri and Burrito (Absolutely Affinity Full of Beans) went Best of Winners and Best of Breed for a 4 point major on Saturday. Burrito’s littermate, Elijah, was Reserve Winner.

Donald x Violet’s puppies are SIX months old! What a fun and wonderful group of puppies they are….

Pixie, the pink girl, gets to spend her birthday at the beach! She had fun running in the ocean with her roommates Kevlar and Shae.
Bailey, the green boy, has been taking Zoom classes with his owners. He likes to hike, play in the snow and chew the legs of the kitchen chairs.
Blue, who was also marked with the color blue, leads an active life with his family. He has a friend, Teddie. I hear they get good and dirty on their playdates.
Dash, formerly gray boy, has a new car seat. I’m sure he enjoys being able to look out as he travels. He lives with his half brother, Chewie.
Bridget, formerly orange girl, is a delight. She loves to play with her toys. Squeaky toys are her favorite. She’s good at entertaining herself. She knows the command “Come” and (usually) complies.
