Introducing the newest addition to Absolutely Affinity Bichons. Yesterday Poppy brought the new addition into the world–a little female weighing 6.35 oz. and screaming all the way. It took until about midnight for both mother and pup to decide they belonged together and settle down. Poppy is taking motherhood very seriously and is becoming a great mom. It is difficult to get a picture of the puppy since she is very strong and active–and a “chow hound”. More pictures to follow.

Good job, Poppy!!
First let me say how much Rose and Poppy look alike. They are definitely sisters almost twins. Amazing! Such a cute mommy and we could only expect a very loud and active daughter and niece. New pup takes after her mom and auntie! Rose has a screech that could break glass! Looking forward to more pix of the new baby ?
I had forgotten about Rose and her screech–made me laugh out loud!! I think this new little girl is going to take after her aunt Rose (however since Poppy is now nursing her she seem much quieter). Rose and Poppy definitely look alike–pretty girls with massive coats.
Congratulations to Poppy and her new puppy “Popsy.” (I nicknamed her but maybe Karen will or won’t agree ha ha).
Poppy sure looks like she’s protecting her new baby. Really cute.
Poppy at this point is very protective of her pup and being a good mom.
