We attended the Bichon Frise of Puget Sound Specialty and the Puyallup Cluster shows June 5-7th. Simon was awarded Select Dog at the Specialty. On Saturday he took the breed win and was awarded a Group 1 in the Owner Handler ring. Sunday gave Simon the breed again. He showed his heart out and powered around the Group ring and was awarded a big Group 2!
We have finished many dogs…but this is the first time we have retired one. Simon is still on top of his game but it’s time to step aside and let the youngsters have their time in the sun.
Simon does enjoy his time in the ring and I expect he will make a comeback at a Specialty when he is able to compete as a veteran. It’s hard to keep a good dog down. 🙂
