Aside from our local Specialty, the Wenatchee Kennel Club is the only club in the area that gives actual trophies for a Best of Breed win. Zeke took home the apple on Saturday, Sunday it went to his brother Simon….along with a Group 3 ribbon to boot! An “Absolutely” wonderful weekend!!

Thanks for sending me the link to your site. I think it is great and the three of you are a great team. I’m so glad you got and loved the Golden Apple. Our club has debated about the trophy several times, especially those years when our show has made no money, but we have opted to continue giving it out. Ernie and I donate the apple for the Bichons to make sure one is given out to our Bichon Best of Breed. The Trophy isn’t given if there are fewer than 6 (I think) dogs entered. I’ll keep checking your site now that I know about it.
