Shown here are five of six of Flo-Jo’s puppies. We took the pups, one at a time, and made sure they were able to nurse. The Orange girl was still in the warming box. When her turn came, she crawled under some of her siblings and dislodged them from their spots. She was determined to get her share! Mother and babies are doing well.

Flo did such a good job delivering her pups and taking to motherhood–babies nursing so quickly and she scrubbed them from end to end. Wish all puppy deliveries were this “textbook”.

Oh, I’m so happy for all of you! Six beautiful, healthy babies and Flo-Jo doing so well! I didn’t get a chance to check the blog yesterday, but I had a strong feeling I’d see some exciting news posted today! Like Jodi Stull above, I am looking forward to seeing your updates and pictures!
